Q WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS POOR?
A The 2 small castles both come with covers and can withstand light rain/wind, but we reserve the right to cancel a booking at any time if we believe safety will be compromised or the conditions are forecast to be extreme. We will monitor the weather conditions as it gets closer to your function and should you/we decide to cancel on the day due to poor weather there will be no charge.
Q HOW MUCH ROOM DO YOU REQUIRE?
A For the small clown and koala castles they require a set up area of no less than 5m x 5m and the medium size castles require an area 6.5m long x 6m wide.
Please ensure the ground is a level area and there are no tree branches, toys, animal matter or objects that might damage or puncture the castle.
Q WHAT SURFACE DO YOU NEED TO SET IT UP ON?
A We can set the castle up on almost any surface as long as it’s level or doesn't slope too much and there is points to anchor the castle. If the castle is to go on concrete or similar surface we will require prior notice as arrangements have to be made. i.e.; sandbags or water weights.
Q HOW MANY KIDS CAN JUMP ON THE CASTLE AT ONE TIME?
A It depends. The small clown and koala castles should easily accommodate between 5 to 8 kids aged 6 to 9yrs and 7 to 10 kids aged 6 and under. The medium size castle will take teens up to 16yrs of age. The older the kids, the heavier they are and the less bounce the castle will have. It is best to let the kids jump 4 or 5 at a time so they have ample room to move and bounce and minimise the risk of injury.
Q HOW LATE CAN YOU PICK IT UP?
A During our peak season between Sept 15th to April 15th the latest we will pick the castle up is 10pm. During the off peak season the latest we will collect the castle is 6pm. Overnight hire rates apply out side of these hours.
Q HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE SET UP AND PULL DOWN?
A The castles take approx 25mins to set up and 30 mins to take down. Please leave the castle inflated for the entire hire period and under no circumstances should you attempt to deflate the castles yourself. This poses a serious safety risk if anyone is inside the castle.
Q DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT ?
A No we don't require a deposit. A cash payment on the day is all that's required. A cheque, or electronic funds transfer is also accepted but prior notice must be given to accept these payments.
Q HOW MUCH NOTICE DO I HAVE TO GIVE?
A During the busy season ( from Sept to April) it is best to give at least 2 weeks notice to secure your booking. During all other times of the year 1 weeks notice will usually be fine.
Q WHAT ELSE DO I HAVE TO KNOW?
A Please make sure the jumpers are supervised at all times. There is no shoes, food, drink, jewellery, face painting on the castle at any time. Also please make sure that all pets are secure as they are not allowed on the castle at any time.
Q DO YOU HIRE OVERNIGHT OR CATER FOR ADULTS?
A Overnight hires are subject to availability and conditions apply. Please advise when you ring that you require an overnight hire as different rates apply. Our medium castle will handle some adults but is manly hired out to cater for kids from 10 to 16yrs.
